Welcome to our blog!

As many of you know the Southeast Museum was first created to celebrate Putnam County’s 150th Birthday. Over the years our artifact collection has grown, our programming and our hours of operation increased. The vision of our charter members was to create a community museum and that remains our core vision to this day. We have created this blog to foster dialogue between our members and the public at large as to the history of our community (Brewster, Southeast and Putnam County). We hope you will add your comments and experiences to the blog.

Thank you, we look forward to your input.
