On Sunday September 27, 2009, the Southeast Museum is hosting a Family Farm Day at Historic Ryder Farm from 11:00AM-3:00PM. Bring the family for a day on the farm. Enjoy wood carving demonstrations, children craft activities, pumpkin painting, face painting, potato sack races, farm tours and more!! Admission to the event is free.
Founded in 1795, Ryder Farm has been an integral part of Southeast’s agricultural history and Putnam County’s cultural heritage. The farm is located at 400 Starr Ridge Road in Brewster, NY.
Directions to Ryder Farm 400 Starr Ridge Road, conveniently located off of RT.6 near I-684 exit 10 and I-84 exit 21.
